Kapa Haka

Today Mr Chadwick took Room 12 for their weekly Kapa Haka lesson. The girls learnt actions with the poi while the boys practiced the school haka. It was really nice watching how positively the children responded to the support from our senior student leaders. The senior students attend each week as part of the senior school leadership programme and do a fantastic job helping out. In the slideshow you can see Abby and Clara working with the girls on actions using the poi while Moss and Rupert can be seen helping the boy warriors grow in confidence as they perform the school haka.
