WHAT A FANTASTIC CLASS!

Mr Hull certainly wasn't joking when he said this is a special class! The first week they have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and they can't wait to do the same for Mrs Velvin tomorrow.

This week I have spent much of the time getting to know the children with particular interest in how they are tracking against their learning goals. They have already done so well this year and I look forward to sharing this with you later in the term with the up coming parent-teacher conferences. However if you ever wish to find out more about how your child is doing at school please feel free to contact me anytime. The best way is to email: skilton@muritai.school.nz

Below is a few photos taken today with the class creating their own Buzan Mindmap . I really enjoy integrating thinking skills strategies in to everyday learning and today the children were challenged to think creatively as they began drafting a mindmap detailing features an imaginary planet.

Hi Room 12! Great work, good to see your heads down working hard! I am having a great time in Cambodia, it is very warm but the people are friendly and there is lots to see and do.
